PPH (Homopolymer)
It is a semi-rigid, transparent, easily shaped, economical polymer. Atactic, isotactic and syndiotactic PP with different properties can be prepared. The glass transition temperature of isotactic PP is -10°C, and its melting temperature is around 160°C. PP has good chemical resistance, but is affected by chlorine, nitric acid and other strong oxidants. Although resistant to visible light, UV-rays degrade the surfaces of materials made of PP. It can be burned but burns slowly. It is non-toxic. It has good heat resistance when properly modified. PP is of three types; 1. PPH/ Polypropylene homopolymer, 2. PPC/ Polypropylene block copolymer, 3. PPRC/ Polypropylene random copolymer, The most important feature that distinguishes PPRC from others is that it can be used in sanitary installations, as well as being used in hot water installations and having the feature of welding hot plate.
